If you have made the
choice that you need to find new business in whatever
marketplace you operate in – how do you go about making
it happen?
In our view there are very clearly three choices:
a). Do it yourself – either personally or utilise
members of staff that work for you to identify, seek out
and examine new business opportunities.
b). Find out how to go about doing so via the internet
or library or seek some form of training.
c). Employ a business, company or individual who knows
how to do so.
Obviously we would recommend the latter in most
instances because that is what we do – we are a new
business generating machine – whether it be telesales,
telemarketing, PR, sales promotion, direct mail,
advertising, website or SEO help – we believe we can
make a difference most of the time.
However there are circumstances when we clearly cannot
help.
If you want or need us to generate new business and we
think we cannot do so either cost effectively, or are
unsure whether we can help full stop we will tell you.
We actively coach and encourage this approach throughout
the whole business – as confident people who believe in
the service we offer are far more likely to work
diligently and hard and produce excellent results.
There can be nothing worse than making false or naive
promises of new business leads, appointments or new
clients if nothing happens.
99% of the time failure comes from lack of trust or
understanding. It is imperative that we understand what
you market or sell and who to.
We must very clearly examine who your competitors are
and how they generate new business at present. Can we
find out how much this costs them or make educated
guesses?
Are there ways to market yet undiscovered? If so where
and how do we best utilise these ideas?
